GuangZhou Broadcasting Network's 4K UHD virtual studio
GuangZhou Broadcasting Network's 4K UHD virtual studio has been remodeled and will be put into use soon. The renovated 4K UHD virtual studio is capable of recording 4K UHD programs and is compatible with other HD programs. It is also able to provide backup support for two live broadcast news studios by virtually restoring the 400 m2 and 300 m2 studio scenes.
SIGWON undertook the green box construction and lighting renovation project of GuangZhou Broadcasting Network's 4K UHD virtual studio. Besides, SIGWON upgraded the intelligent relay control system and added corresponding control loops to realize the communication and interconnection of the existing intelligent LCD panels, network touch panels and other related equipments through the control protocols such as DMX signals and BUS buses.
This studio adopted SIGWON's SG-L series LED panels and SG-S series LED spotlights. The LED panels were used for the basic lighting (front lighting, side lighting, top lighting, background lighting) to uniformly light up the green box area and the background wall. The LED spotlights were used for key lighting and back lighting to make the shooting picture more stereoscopic. These LED lights feature accurate color temperature, high color rendering index, and consistent output. With Ra≥95，TLCI≥98, and perfect soft lighting effect , they fully met the technical requirements of the 4K UHD virtual studio on consistent illumination, balanced light ratio and color reproduction.
